If a dog tag gets stuck inside the machine, the first step is to turn off the machine, wait 10 seconds and turn it back on. The machine should return the medallion.
If this does not work, remove the service/maintenance window located at the front of the machine by unscrewing the 4 2.5 mm Allen screws and manually unstick the package remaining inside the machine.
If the machine you own does not have the service/maintenance window, turn off the machine and unscrew the four screws located on the top of the machine with a 4 mm Allen wrench, as shown in the following animated GIF:
to gain access to the inside of the machine and try to manually remove the jammed packaging.
When finished, close the machine by putting the top cover back on and screwing the four screws back on.
